Player Evaluations
Here at Own Touch, we are always researching and implementing the most cutting-edge (and affordable) training techniques and resources available! Recognizing that individual development is the #1 way to strengthen the team overall, our systematic approach to help each player maximize potential is to Measure - Track - Improve!
Just recently, Own Touch partnered with nationally recognized, ISOCCER, to provide an advanced technical tool that allows coaches to evaluate players across a wide variety of skill-sets and performance levels. We initially offered this program to a small test group of our most dedicated group of players. However, based on overwhelmingly positive feedback from players and parents, we have decided to open the evaluation to ALL players, Ages 8-18.
What’s amazing about this tool is not only does the assessment rate, detail and catalog each player’s strengths and weaknesses…it also includes a breakdown of individual abilities as compared to his or her age group on a national scale! For older players, we are able to compare the assessment to current D-1 players across the nation! This allows parents and coaches to focus on specific areas for training at the Own Touch Center or wherever you choose.
This assessment methodology is a cyclical process that should be regularly repeated to show “real time” improvement and measure progress toward technical training goals. Assessments are scheduled weekly as follows:
Days: Fridays
Time: 4-5 PM (8-11yrs)
5-6 PM (12-14yrs)
6-7 PM (15-18yrs)
Cost: $30 per assessment
